Nimmo AS is a software company providing the following products: Nimmo Calendar, Nimmo Planner, and the apps Nimmo Driver and Nimmo for travellers.

This privacy policy is intended to help you understand how we process your personal data.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data at Nimmo

The purpose of processing personal data is to enable you to use the services offered through Nimmo software.

We process personal data on behalf of our customers to provide functionality in our products. Our customers are the data controllers, while we act as the data processor.

If you visit our website, nimmo.no, you are interacting directly with Nimmo, and Nimmo is the data controller for the data collected.

What Personal Data Do We Process?

Nimmo Website

We use cookies and analytics tools in the website’s content management system. The data is used for site operation and development, and to ensure usability. All collected information is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you.

Nimmo Calendar

Nimmo Calendar is a web application for registering activities offered by you or your organization.

We collect name, email address, and phone number.

Nimmo Planner (Administration Portal)

This service enables customers to define transport offerings, register drivers, and receive bookings.

For administrators and users, we collect name, email address, phone number, and profile picture (optional).

For drivers, we collect name, email address, mobile number, profile picture (mandatory), and location data.

For transport bookers, we collect data from the bookings made in the Nimmo app: name, date of birth, mobile number, location data, profile picture (optional), and – if applicable – affiliations to other users you are booking on behalf of.

Nimmo Driver App (Driver App)

This service allows drivers to view routes, access passenger information, and communicate with travelers.

We collect name, email address, mobile number, profile picture (mandatory), and location data.

The driver shares their location with the person who booked the ride and with Nimmo Planner, visible to Nimmo and the transport provider.

Nimmo App for Travellers

This app allows you to book transportation for yourself or others and access other functionality, such as tracking a child’s journey or contacting the driver.

We collect name, address, date of birth, mobile number, profile picture, and – if applicable – family relationships to users you are booking for.

How Do We Collect Your Personal Data?

We collect personal data directly from you or from the transport service provider (for example when booking by phone).

When visiting our website, we also use cookies and analytics tools in the site’s content management system.

Security

We use the analytics tool Sentry to detect, reduce, and prevent security threats and misuse, as well as for maintenance and troubleshooting. Information collected during this process is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individuals.

What Is the Legal Basis for Processing Your Personal Data?

We process personal data based on several legal grounds.

Contract with You

We process your personal data under an agreement you enter into by choosing to use Nimmo software and accepting our terms of use.

Your Consent

We may also process your data based on consent, for example, when registering for an event. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Legitimate Interest

We have a legitimate interest in processing your personal data for purposes such as security, support, and improvement. We do this in a way that we believe does not conflict with your rights.

How Do We Share Your Personal Data?

Within Nimmo

Your data is stored in systems used by Nimmo to deliver the services provided via our software. Employees have access only when necessary to deliver the services.

With Nimmo’s Customers

Customers have access to data when required to deliver the service.

With Partners

We may share your personal data with our or the Customer’s partners (e.g., transport providers), when necessary to fulfill the service you have booked.

How Long Do We Store Your Personal Data?

We store your personal data as long as you use the services provided via Nimmo software.

  • In Nimmo Calendar, all personal data is deleted when your user account is deleted.

  • In Nimmo Planner, all personal data is deleted when your user account is deleted.

  • In Nimmo Driver, all personal data is deleted when a driver deletes their own account via the app or when an administrator deletes the driver in Nimmo Planner.

  • If you stop using the Nimmo end-user app and wish to have your data deleted, you must contact Nimmo AS via the contact form at nimmo.no.

Disclosure of Personal Data

Nimmo does not disclose personal data to others unless required by a legal ruling or statutory obligation. Anonymous data may be used for statistical purposes and may therefore be shared with others.

Nimmo’s customers are obligated to handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act § 2 no. 4.

Consent

If Nimmo processes your personal data based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, and Nimmo will stop the relevant data processing. Note that this may mean you can no longer use Nimmo’s services.

Access to Your Data

You may request access to how Nimmo processes your personal data. You can also ask to see the information we have registered about you at any time.

Correction/Deletion of Data

If you find that the data we have on you is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request that it be corrected or deleted.

Note: If your personal data is deleted, you will no longer be able to use Nimmo software.

Notifications and Marketing

Legitimate Interest

When you have an agreement with us by using Nimmo software, we process your personal data based on legitimate interest. One of our legitimate interests is to send you notifications and relevant information through our software.

We use your personal data to deliver relevant content via alerts or in-app messages.

If your personal data has been collected based on consent, we may also send you personalized marketing and information related to the context in which consent was given.

Right to Opt Out of Notifications and Marketing

Within our software, you can opt out of notifications and change your consent preferences.

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing messages, you may still receive administrative communication necessary for managing the services you use.
